PizzaExpress had just aquired Pizza on the Park from Sir Peter Boizot and wanted to make it a great destination to eat again, with it’s own brand image.
I was briefed to create not just a logo for Pizza on the Park, but a whole identity kit for the restaurant and the live entertainment venue attached to it (formerly known as Larry’s Music Room), whilst being sensitive to the history of the venue.
The system was designed in a modular fashion, with a logo that could be extended to cover a menu and a clear and simple difference between the restaurant above and venue below.
